PhD Scholarship – Applied Developmental Psychology, New Zealand, Victoria University of Wellington

Selection criteria
The successful applicant will have an undergraduate or Master’s-level qualification majoring in psychology. As the successful recipient will be working with children, a clean police record will also be required. Applications are welcome from New Zealand and overseas students. Students whose first language is not English should ensure prior to applying that they have met Victoria University of Wellington’s English language requirements, as listed below:
• TOEFL 575 with (preferably) a TWE of 5, or 237 on the computer-based test; or 90 on the internet-based test with a minimum of 20 in writing; or
• IELTS overall band of 6.5, no sub-score below 6; or
• CAE grade B; or
• a minimum of two ratings of 5 and two ratings of 4 in the Victoria University English Proficiency Program test.

Value
Stipend of NZ$25,000 per year the costs of tuition fees for three years.
One scholarship is to be awarded for three years.
The recipient will be responsible for paying the student levy and for international insurance, if applicable.
