Brief description:

The University of Bologna awards 40 study grants to deserving international students who wish to register for First, Single, and Second Cycle Degree Programmes at the University of Bologna for A.Y. 2016/2017.

Scholarship value/duration:

Each study grant amounts to a total of €11,059 and is awarded for one academic year.

Eligibility:

Application is open exclusively to candidates who are in possession of all the following requirements:

1) the qualifications for admission to the chosen First, Single or Second Cycle degree programme were obtained in an institution outside of the Italian education system, after at least two years of attendance. If the qualification for admission is a one year title, the prior qualification will be considered too. Qualifications issued by institutions of the Republic of San Marino do not satisfy this condition. Applicants’ citizenship is not considered;

2) they fulfil the access requirements foreseen for the chosen degree programme or will fulfil such requirements at the time of registration;

3) they are not students at the University of Bologna of First, Single or Second Cycle degree programmes.

4) they have not already benefited from the study grant Unibo Action 2.

5) they are not 30 years or older on the deadline of this call.

You will also need to sit one of the following tests by the application deadline: 

– SAT (if you are interested in registering in a First or Single Cycle Degree Programme)
– GRE (if you are interested in registering in a Second Cycle Degree Programme)

Applications must be submitted from 20 January 2016 at 12.00 pm to 31 March 2016 at 5.00 pm (CET), exclusively via Studenti Online as explained in the call for applications.

Naresuan University International Student Scholarships-Thailand

For the academic year 2016-2017, up to 27 scholarships are available for international students at the Naresuan University. These scholarships are offered for pursuing postgraduate (master’s and doctoral) programme.

University is offering scholarships at postgraduate level for qualified students in any country of origin to study at the university as it is gearing towards becoming a research-based, innovative, and internationalised university.

Description of Ideal Candidate:

Applicants must meet the following guidelines:
-Be a bachelor degree or master degree holder
-Must hold a minimum of English proficiency score from either TOEFL or IELTS as shown in the table below (unless indicated otherwise by specific graduate program requirements).

A selected candidate is entitled to receive the followings:
-An international airfare ticket (economy class) from country of origin to Bangkok, Thailand and domestic transfer arrangement to Phitsanulok and a return international airfare ticket (economy class) upon graduation
-Tuition fee and international student fee waivers throughout the length of the study
-On-campus accommodation, excluding liability fee, monthly electricity bill, etc
-Health Insurance: the student must apply for a one-month policy (August 2016 costing not more than 60 USD) from his/her home country, and the university will do the reimbursement upon his/her arrival. The original receipt is required for this process.
-6,000.-Bht of monthly allowance. Please prepare personal expenses for the first two months (August to September 2016) as monthly allowance is being processed and deposited to the opened bank account.
-Thai Non-ED visa application and its renewal throughout the length of the study. The original receipt must be requested and is obligatory for the reimbursement.
-4,000.-Bht for study material per academic year
-One-time thesis/dissertation proposal fee and thesis/dissertation defense fee
